Who the hell is this new Templar in the new ASSASSIN’S CREED?

So that second Assassin’s Creed game of the this year has officially been announced after a leak happened. The game is titled Assassin’s Creed Rogue, and Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gamers will play as Templar Shay Patrick Cormac set in the middle of the 18th century during the Seven Years’ War. This seems pretty interesting, but sadly there’s been no mention of a PC release.. yet? I can dream, because the game seems more interesting to me than Unity does, but that’s probably just because I had to study the French Revolution in school this past year and I’ve had enough. Check out the trailer below.

Looks pretty cool, right? Here’s a description of the game from Ubisoft

Become the ultimate Assassin Hunter in Assassin’s Creed Rogue. As Shay you’ll hunt those you previously called brothers from the streets of New York City to the frozen and fractured glacial landscapes of the Arctic Circle. Is Shay a traitor, rebel, renegade or something else entirely? Only one thing is certain, he follows his own creed.

Personally, this game is pretty cool because I’m Irish and the protagonist is most likely Irish. That name? That accent? He has to be. And it makes sense since the Seven Years’ War was a war that involved all the great powers of Europe. Also, I think it’s great that Ubisoft haven’t forgotten about gamers on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, like so many other devs have.

So what do you think? Will this game be as good as Unity? Let us know what you think of the game in the comments!
