It’s That Time Of The Month… HALF LIFE 2: EPISODE 3 Is LEGIT?!

Yep that’s right ladies and gents, Half Life 2: Episode 3 speculation time! Half Life 2 has gone down as one of gaming’s finest achievements, as well as it’s two episode content DLC’s. The only thing tarnishing the hallowed name is the promised and never delivered, the mythical unicorn of Episode 3. Rumors have popped up over and over again throughout the years, mostly because there are few things as fun as baiting Valve fans. Even Gabe Newell has joined in the trolling attempts.

Well get ready to raise those hopes once more folks, as Half Life 2: Episode 3 appears on a list of GameStop release dates. Now of course this is 99.9% bullshit, but it’s that 0.01% that all Half Life fans love to cling to. Check out the list below:

Now there are a few things to point out right now, the figures on the side (999,90) are given in Norwegian krone, which is roughly 6 times UK pounds and 10 times US dollars. That puts the game at £70 or $100 but hell, things are expensive in Norway!!!

The main thing to point out are the release dates – 30.06.2013 is quoted for Half Life 2: Episode 3. However, the same date is also listed for Final Fantasy Versus XIII (Hurray more made up games), Dragon Age 3: Inquisition and Fortnite. These are all games without release dates given so they have been placed at the end of June as that represents the end of that quarter.

Let’s be honest there’s pretty much no chance that this is legit in any way. GameStop list games before they are announced, their rewards program lists Half Life 3 for example. Sometimes it’s good to imagine what would happen if Half Life 2: Episode 3 or god forbid, Half Life 3 ever came out though, so forgive me for this. At the end of the day, blame this guy:

In other news: Beyond Good and Evil 2 is similarly totally legit…
