Don’t Zone Out Before Watching the PROJECT X ZONE English Trailer!

Fans of crossovers (such as myself) have probably heard of Project X Zone. And if you haven’t, shame on you! The game only happens to feature characters from Capcom, Namco Bandai, and and Sega video games. Thats all. A few months ago, Namco Bandai Games revealed that the game would indeed make it to North American shores, to the surprise of many (but to be fair, we did end up getting Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and many people also assumed that we wouldn’t get that). And now, Namco Bandai is streaming a trailer for the “ultimate cross over” game.

The RPG/fighting game hybrid features over 50 playable characters from various Capcom, Namco Bandai, and Sega franchises, including Tekken, .hack, Resident Evil, Mega Man, Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry, Tales of, Virtua Fighter, God Eater, Sakura Wars, and more!

Project X Zone will be released in North America on June 25 for the Nintendo 3DS. It’s original release date in Japan was October 2012. Namco Bandai also previously announced that the game’s English version would keep the Japanese voice acting, but that is a small price to pay for getting the game at all. In Japan, reception has been good, with gaming magazine Famitsu scoring the game 34/40. I’ve been waiting for this game a long time, so you can bet I’ll get this right away!
