Brick-Smashing Action in Impressive New LEGO MARVEL Trailer!

A new trailer for the upcoming Lego Marvel Super Heroes video game was released at Gamescom, and it is really good. If this doesn’t hype you for the game, then I swear, nothing will.

There are a few things that I really liked about this trailer. The character roster is large. And when I say large, I mean it. Lego Marvel makes the cast of Ultimate Alliance seem small!

The story seems surprisingly cinematic, more so than previous Lego video games. Also, we now have a valid reason for Galactus to attack Earth, which is a good thing, since one of my previous concerns was that the writers were going to make Galactus a generic evil villain, like in the first Ultimate Alliance.

The game’s graphics are also a step above previous Lego games. And finally, the strong voice cast, featuring many recurring voice actors: Fred Tatasciore (Hulk in pretty much everything), Dee Bradley Baker (Mr. Fantastic in Earth’s Mightiest Heroes), Nolan North (Deadpool in Hulk Vs. and MvC), Roger Craig Smith (Captain America in Avengers Assemble), Travis Willingham (Thor in Avengers Assemble), Laura Bailey (Black Widow in Avengers Assemble), Adrian Pasdar (Iron Man in almost everything), Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, and many others!

Lego Marvel Super Heroes will be released for the PC, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One consoles this Fall. The game is being developed by TT Games.

So…has the trailer sold you on this game?
