BATTLEFIELD 4 Takes on Asia. Occidentalists Rejoice!

Battlefield 4 developers DICE have today released some new details for the up coming October shooter. The story will follow an unlikely group of heroes known as Tombstone Squad. The main protagonist goes by the name of Sergeant Daniel Recker. In the game we will venture to such countries as: Azerbaijan, China and Singapore.

DICE have also revealed that in one chapter, players will have to try and rescue a group of VIPs. This group includes one Laszlow W. Kovic. If anyone didn’t already know Kovic is the main character of the soon to be released Battlefield novel that provides the backstory for the CIA operative and larger Battlefield 4 story.

The description of the game says: “As you reach Singapore you are shocked to find a horrific scene of fire and mayhem,”; “The flagship is sunk and its fleet is eradicated, and from this point on nothing is certain.”

The game is going to be released 29  October for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Although we know that the game will be released for the two Next Gen consoles we don’t know the release for them.

As we have known for a long time, this wont be a whack-up job, this is will probably the XBox 360’s and the PS3’s last hoorah!
