When the Hell is The Hulk TV Show Coming Out?

If you remember back to a few years ago, Marvel made a big splash at the San Diego Comic Con by announcing their upcoming slate of comics-to-television adaptations that would premier on ABC. The House of Ideas was pretty cocky in bragging about their lineup of planned series, touting a Jessica Jones drama and a Hulk remake as their main priorities. The master of monsters himself, Guillermo del Toro, was even scheduled to produce the hourly show about Bruce Banner’s travels, but it’s been quite a few years since the shows were announced, and there really hasn’t been any news about the projects.

Well our pals over at CBR were able to sit down with long time Marvel scribe Jeph Loeb at Wondercon, who will come on board as a writer if The Hulk show ever takes off. This is what he had to say…

“All I can tell you is that we’re in development,” said Loeb. “We’re working very toward bringing the Hulk back to television. We have in development another show which is ‘The Punisher’ and the first show we put into development, ‘AKA Jessica Jones’ which you guys know as ‘Alias.'”

Not a very optimistic response, if you ask me. But, as much as our UK editor Ciaran might hate me for saying this, I gotta admit that I really don’t care for Marvel’s live action, television offerings. I prefer my heroics on the silver screen!

Oh, and thanks to our good friend Josh Wilding from CBM for the scoop!
