THE SINISTER SIX Flick is NOT DEAD! And it’s not a bad thing, trust us.

Despite Marvel announcing a changed schedule and the inclusion of Peter Parker in Captain America: Civil War, Sony is still actively developing their villain fueled adventure. So get ready as the Sinister Six stand united, more or less, and kind of eager to make their big screen debut!

The movie still has Drew Goddard attached to write and direct, but the studio has delayed it beyond it’s original November 2016 release date. So what does this mean? More then likely the story will be retooled to fit within the current phase of the MCU. I think there’s a chance that we might see the Initiative play a role here, as It would be a perfect opportunity to have some oh so questionable antagonists be the main characters for a change. And they would get the chance to work for Uncle Sam too!

If you think back to your Marvel post-Civil War days, the country saw the formation of several teams one being the no doubt evil incarnation of the Thunderbolts! Wouldn’t it be perfect if that series which featured the likes of Bullseye, Green Goblin, Moonstone, Radioactive Man, Penance, Songbird, Swordsman and Venom became the foundation for this movie? Sure we can change up the final roster but what better way to make villains into pseudo heroes and to paint Iron Man‘s side in a questionable light? And the plot could center around the government wanting the team to find and capture a menace known as: Spider-Man!

I for one would be giddy to see this! And maybe, just maybe, this team starts off with an official title but the country comes to know them as the infamous Sinister Six!
