Mind MGMT #32 Review

It takes more than psychic powers to survive the world of Mind MGMT!

The official description from Dark Horse:

“MIND MGMT is a must-read comic.”—Newsarama

“The quality is simply sublime.”—Comic Book Resources

Mind MGMT 32 CoverThis is an amazing issue. On the surface, it may just look like two ex-Mind MGMT agents trying to recruit anyone willing, to Meru’s cause…but as we have come to expect, it really is so much more than that. I certainly do not want to give anything away, but be sure to read every word. Everything has been carefully placed to enhance your reading experience.

I know I keep saying it, but Matt Kindt just keeps outdoing himself. Every issue. This one has more dimensions than I can probably comprehend. And yeah, it sounds like I am drowning in hyperbole, but when you really look at all the elements Matt has included, on every page, you will start to see my ‘exaggerations’ are warranted…

Mind MGMT 32 Preview 1

This single issue could be its own cinematic adventure. Duncan and Perrier travel around the world in search for anyone to help in the battle against the Eraser. Unfortunately, as can be expected, they are met with significant opposition. And CRAZY.

Mind MGMT 32 Preview 4

Though, I cannot think of two better qualified ex-Mind MGMT agents to balance their abilities and survive the onslaught…

Mind MGMT 32 Preview 6

Then again, even people who can predict the future get caught up in the ‘little things’ sometimes…

Mind MGMT 32 Preview 8

Okay – I have worked my way through a select FOUR of the EIGHT preview pages that Dark Horse offered up for this issue. I am not entirely sure why they are giving a third of the comic away for free, but at least they leave you with a cliffhanger.

As for me, I am not going to spoil any more than they have in their preview. But I am going to reiterate, read every word. Even the ones you do not understand. And sure, you may need your Elven Dictionary handy for some of them, but it will all be worth it.

Finally – You best be reading the ‘Triple Indemnity’ narrative at the end of the main story. I have a strong feeling that what Dali has set up for that film, will have significant impact on Meru and crew…
