THE FLASH Casts Liam McIntyre as WEATHER WIZARD!

The second half of The Flash’s first season will be all about The Rogues. Not only has video showcasing Captain Cold, Heat Wave, and Pied Piper appeared on the web, but another member of the super group will join the fun. Multiple sources have confirmed that Liam McIntyre has been cast as Mark Mardon, the new Weather Wizard. He will appear in the upcoming fifteenth and sixteenth episodes.

Once famous for playing the titular character in Spartacus, McIntyre will be joining fellow Spartacus alumni like Manu Bennett (Slade/Deathstroke), Katrina Law (Nyssa al Ghul,) Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Amanda Waller), and Nick Tarabay (Captain Boomerang) in the Flash/Arrow-verse. Though unaware of episode fifteen’s title, IGN confirms that episode sixteen will be called “Rogue Time.” Looks like The Rogues will be fully formed before the end of the first season! It’s good to be a comic fan right now.

The official character description for this character reads:

“Mark Mardon, brother to Clyde Mardon, returns to Central City to get justice for his brother’s untimely death. Mark uses his powers, similar to Clyde’s ability to control the weather, to go on a rampage to find the man that shot Clyde…Joe West.”
