It’s been a while since Doctor Who has done an outright scary story, but tonight (hopefully) viewers will be cowering behind the sofa again as the Doctor and Clara find themselves in a haunted mansion in the fourth episode of this series, titled Hide. In tonight’s episode, we’ll meet the Witch of the Well, witness a face-off between Clara and the TARDIS… and quite possibly visit an alien planet. Here’s all you need to know about tonight’s spine-chiller:
UK – Tonight at 6.45pm on BBC One
US – Tonight at 8/7C on BBC America
Canada – Tonight at 9pm on SPACE
Australia – Tomorrow at 7.30pm on ABC1
Poland & South Africa – Tomorrow at 6pm & 7pm respectively on BBC Entertainment
New Zealand – Thursday 2 May at 8.30pm on Prime
Clara and the Doctor arrive at Caliburn House, a haunted mansion sat alone on a desolate moor.
Within its walls, a ghost-hunting professor and a gifted psychic are searching for the Witch of the Well. Her apparition appears throughout the history of the building, but is she really a ghost? And what is chasing her?
The Doctor – Matt Smith
Clara – Jenna-Louise Coleman
Alec Palmer – Dougray Scott
Emma Grayling – Jessica Raine
Hila – Kemi-Bo Jacobs
The crooked man – Aidan Cook

My review of Hide will be posted soon after the episode airs in the UK tonight, and ‘Everything You Need to Know About Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS’ (quite a mouthful, that one) will be posted next Saturday!
