DAREDEVIL Cast Set To Take Over NYCC

Marvel is set to take over this year’s New York Comic Con! That is a fact. Last year, they dominated (DC was off hiding in a corner, curled up under a table in fear) and this year will be another KO. To get the fans all giddy, Marvel has announced that they will debut the cast of Daredevil at a panel spotlighting the Netflix exclusive series.

This is the perfect place to drop some bombs about the Marvel/Netflix partnership. Netflix is set to also have series based on Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist, all very NY heroes. The series are going to be filmed on NY streets, creating over 3,000 jobs and producing around 60 hours of programming.

One way Marvel could create huge news is by revealing a casting for Luke, Jess or Fist. Of course, a trailer would be a nice treat, also.

NYCC will also feature other Marvel Studios panels, including an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel that will premiere a new episode of the show. I want to note: I find it very funny when people pay large amounts of money to get into a con so they can watch a show that will be on TV a week or two later.

At the con, SK Energy is going to be handing out samples of their Daredevil branded energy drink. Sounds weird, right? Even weirder, 50 Cent owns SK energy. Oh well, I will take almost anything for free.
