As you’ve probably guessed, massive spoilers ahead! Be wary!
Alright, now that my obligatory caveat is out of the way, let’s dig into this.
Those of you who saw X-Men: Days of Future Past this week probably stayed for the after-credit scene which featured a young Apocalypse (then known as En Sabah Nu) constructing the ancient Egyptian pyramids as a horde of chanting disciples sang his praises. While the scene was undoubtedly badass, revealing the absolutely genocidal Apocalypse as a not-that-badass teenager was teeny tiny let down. Still, it kicked ass.
Well, we’ve discovered who the Apocalypse actor is, and while he’ll probably only appear in X-Men: Apocalypse in flashbacks as the modern day iteration of the character belongs to a yet-to-be-named older lead, this remains a pretty big reveal.
Take a look at 18 year old thespian Brendan Pedder.
And here’s a picture of the kiddo in his full Apocalypse gear. You should probably check out the 4 equine enthusiasts in the background. Yeah, looks like the 4 Horsemen of Apocalypse, right?
