Yes, This Is Real: Megan Fox Cast In NINJA TURTLES

You read that headline right. Despite a (very) public falling out a few years back, it looks as if their differences have been put aside as the news that Megan Fox has been cast as April O’Neill in the Michael Bay-produced Ninja Turtles. While fans have spent months trashing the movie (joking that Fox would be cast as O’Neill), I don’t think any of us thought it would actually happen.

Fox is said to have beaten out actresses like Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect), Jane Levy (Evil Dead) and Elizabeth Olsen (Godzilla) to the role, although I have no idea how. Multiple sources are also reporting that the studio is looking to cast four unknowns in the roles of the m0-capped alien turtles.

A while back the script for the movie leaked (first uncovered here at UTF), and spread across the internet like wildfire. As expected, Casey Jones and April O’Neill were the real leads and the Turtles and Splinter were supporting characters (like in the Transformers films). Also, the script was terrible. As in REALLY terrible.

Are you excited to see Megan Fox in the Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans, Battle: LA)-directed Ninja Turtles? I know none of you are, but the feedback is interesting nonetheless. Share your thoughts below.
