What If: Wonder Woman Movie Happening; Justice League Cancelled*

SATIRE!  THIS IS SATIRE

In what can only be described as the biggest plot twist of all time, Warner Bros. just announced today that a Wonder Woman solo film starring Israeli actress, Gal Gadot is currently in development.

According to official reports from Greg Silverman, Warner Bros. President of Worldwide Production, the now upcoming Wonder Woman film “will be a further expansion of this universe. Batman vs. Superman will lead directly into Justice League Wonder Woman,”

Silverman also went on to say that “a script is in development, however it is unlikely very likely that we will see a finished film before 2018.”

The Zack Snyder-directed Man of Steel sequel will introduce Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman before Zack Snyder will return to direct the Wonder Woman solo film.

Reports from earlier today reported that a Zack Snyder-directed Justice League movie will follow Batman vs. Superman, but an exclusive Unleash The Fanboy source close to the director told us that this Justice League movie will likely be put on “indefinite hiatus” in favor of the Wonder Woman solo film.

According to Sue Kroll, President of Worldwide Marketing, said that they are “warm to the idea” of a Justice League film and “With the right script; that could be viable. The world is ready for her them.”

But of course, in Hollywood when a film is stated to be on “indefinite hiatus” it means that the film is all but cancelled.

Sorry, internet. It looks like we are just going to have to keep trying for that Justice League movie until Warner Bros. listens to us.
