The UK Title For The Avengers Is Now ‘Avengers Assemble’

In an EXTREMELY suprising move, along with the release of a new theatrical poster for The Avengers, the UK Facebook page for the movie has announced that the new UK release date is April 26  – only moved a day forward – and the UK title has been changed to Marvel Avengers Assemble. Why? Well turns out they were worried people would get it confused with the classic 1960’s show The Avengers or the awful 1990’s remake….yeah pretty stupid right? Now us Brits are stuck with a stupid name…. Oh well I’m sure the earlier UK release will help soothe the pain! Here’s the UK version of the new poster below.

    Don’t see the problem with the new title. If anything it throws in a hint that this is the first of a new series of Avengers movies, hence the word “Assemble” being thrown in, this is where it starts, where all these iconic characters get together.

    But obviously a borderline retard like “Tom Radcliffe” above typifies the typical fanboy response we’re seeing online. If they had called it, “Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America give rim jobs to Nick Fury” then I guess you could call it “gay” lol.
