Star Wars Live Action Show Gets Rolling

Right after the release of Revenge of the Sith, George Lucas riled up the world of fanboydom with the news of a monumental announcement in the Star Wars community. What did he reveal? Well, only that he planned to make a Star Wars live action television drama that filled the gap between Episodes 3 and 4.  I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen so Man-Children as happy as they were that day.

But that announcement was made nearly seven years ago, and we’ve yet to see anything in terms of development. Today, producer Rick McCallum delved into the future of this unfulfilled project, and his news was pretty awesome. While no set production dates have been officiated, they’ve decided the overall tone, a list of canonical episodes, and the title Star Wars Underworld.

So what’d you think?  Pretty damn awesome right?  I can’t wait for this show to get started, it’ll almost make up for Lucas’s failure to make Battlefront 3.
