New promo still from LINCOLN

Nope, this is not a promotional still from a rushed sequel to the dreadful Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, this picture is from the upcoming Steven Spielberg Oscar hopeful, “Lincoln.”

The new flick starring Daniel Day-lewis will focus in on the later part of the 16th President‘s life, attempting to trace his time in office during the Civil War up until his assassination by John Wilkes Booth.

The director, Steven Spielberg, had this to say on the movie:

Our movie is really about a working leader who must make tough decisions and get things done in the face of overwhelming opposition,” Spielberg said in a press release.
