New IMAX Poster For The Dark Knight Rises

That’s right, we’re not done with news for The Dark Knight Rises yet! In fact, we’re only just beginning. At some point today there will be nearly 50 critic screenings for Nolan’s last Bat-movie, and some early reactions have already leaked out. Sort of.

There’s only one reaction written down (from the LA Times Geoff Boucher) and the other two come from a reliable source. The important thing is, all of them prefer the movie to The Dark Knight and the last 15 minutes is described as incredible.

Could this new IMAX poster for the movie hint at what that incredible-ness is? The poster details an old image of Batman in front of a burning Gotham, and the ending was previously said to be completely CGI, so could the epic ending to the Dark Knight Legend be Gotham burning to the ground and then being rebuilt, “brick by brick”?
