Michael Fassbender is having a booming career with 12 Years A Slave and the summer blockbuster X-Men Days of Future Past on the way. Along with an adaptation of Assassin’s Creed currently in development and a possible return for a Prometheus sequel. While The Counselor is floundering at the box office, it’s not going hurt Fassbender’s options by any means. His supporting role in 12 Years A Slave could eventually earn him awards consideration. Including a Best Support Actor Oscar nomination.

Deadline has word a deal is being put together at the American Film Market concerning a new film titled Trespass Against Us. The gangster film centres on Chad Cutler, a man trying to leave the rge criminal ways of his family. Michael is being looked at to play Cutler. Not much else is being mentioned concerning the plot besides that brief synopsis. Interesting enough is that new feature director Adam Smith will helm Trespass. Smith is mostly known for directing TV episodes for Doctor Who and Skins. He also made the documentary The Chemical Brothers – Don’t Think. Leading to the electronic duo scoring the film. The pair previously scored Joe Wright’s action flick Hanna.
