Marvel Casts Another Wrestler For CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER

Just the other week the House of Ideas cast wrestler Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy, and now it seems they’ve cast another one. When Marvel said they were adapting the Winter Soldier arc for the Captain America sequel… I didn’t think they meant all of it. Georges St-Pierre, a current UFC heavyweight, has been cast as Batroc the Leaper in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

I actually don’t remember Batroc appearing in the comic, although I haven’t read it for a while. However this is still technically a rumour, so take it with a grain of salt regardless. Originally set to begin filming next month, the start date has now been pushed back to May.
