Mads Mikkelsen Out Of Thor 2

It was rumoured a while back that Casino Royale star Mads Mikkelsen was going to pop up in Thor 2 as the villain, but the actor has now confirmed in an interview with Zoomin. Movies that he couldn’t appear due to scheduling conflicts. It was never specified which villain he would play, and I can’t think of any Thor villains who he would fit, but he does confirm in the interview that he had some meetings with Marvel about playing the villain.

“That’s not happening unfortunately. I had a meeting with them but there was a little delay and then Hannibal (his new role) came in and it’s not happening for me.”
