Jessica Biel Explains Why She’s Not In THE WOLVERINE

Last week we learned that Jessica Biel was in talks to play the role of Viper in The Wolverine, but she later confirmed that she was not going to be in the movie. In seperate interviews with CraveOnline and Collider for the Total Recall press junket, she explains why she dropped out of the movie and what attracted her to the role in the first place. Read an excerpt from Crave’s interview below:

“That particular character was really cool. She was this vivacious woman who is thrilled about her own immortality, and it was interesting, that kind of persona, I thought, for a quote-unquote “villain” character. And I was really interested in the director, so it was worth the conversation.”

“It was a schedule issue. I just couldn’t get it to work out with all the press stuff I have with the movies already coming out.”
