Jackie Earle Haley Auditioned For BATMAN VS SUPERMAN

We’ve been hearing a lot concerning the current casting of Batman Vs Superman. A new bit of casting information is coming from LatinoReview. They briefly mentioned on Twitter that Watchmen actor Jackie Earle Haley (Little Children, Robocop, Lincoln) has auditioned for a role. Hinting that because he’s bald, obviously it was for Lex Luthor. The role isn’t named though. However, the studio apparently passed on him. This isn’t the first name linked to previous Zack Snyder projects auditioning for a role in Batman Vs Superman. When Snyder and Warner Bros. were on the hunt for a new Bruce Wayne names like Gerard Butler (300) and Matthew Goode (Watchmen) were in the mix. That’s before Ben Affleck was eventually cast in the role.

There have been a bunch of names being linked for the film already. A couple of ladies auditioning for Wonder Woman which include Jaimie Alexander (Thor, The Last Stand, Thor: The Dark World, London Fields), Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace, Oblivion, Centurion, Max Payne, To The Wonder, Hitman, Magic City, Seven Psychopaths, The Water Diviner), Elodie Yung (District 13: Ultimatum, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and Gal Gadot (Knight And Day, Fast And Furious 4-6). Not to mention names like Adam Driver (Girls), Penn Badgley (Gossip Girl) and Ezra Miller (We Need To Talk About Kevin) for Nightwing. Returning cast members from Man of Steel include Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and possibly Christopher Meloni.
