It’s Official, The Lizard is a Goomba

Remember a while ago when the first images of the Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man were accidentally leaked through concept art and some PEZ dispensers? Back then it seemed like everyone was pretty much against Sony’s more humanoid approach to the classic, crocodilian villain. Well, it looks like we can add a bit more fuel to the fanboy outrage with these latest images of toy tie-ins.

Dr. Curt Connors certainly looks a lot more like a Goomba than his usual Lizard-self. This makes me wonder if the earliest leaked images from Marvel’s private viewing have been changed around.
