Chris Pratt Could Run From Dinosaurs In JURASSIC WORLD

TheWrap has word that Chris Pratt (Five-Year Engagement, The Delivery Man) is being sought for a lead role in Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World. Pratt is best known for roles in NBC series Parks And Rec and will blow up next August in Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy. Chris would be an excellent addition to the cast and will bring a solid comedic voice for the film. The film’s plot is currently being kept under-wraps but is said involve a rival company opening their own dinosaur park.

Recently, it was revealed that Josh Brolin was leaving talks to take a lead role. After being originally linked by Variety. Fellow Marvel alumni Bryce Dallas Howard (Spider-Man 3, Terminator Salvation, 50/50) and Ty Simpkins (Iron Man 3, Insidious 1-2) have been previously cast in the film. The last couple of names attached included Garrett Hedlund (also linked for John Connor in Terminator 5) and Jason Schwartzman (Scott Pilgrim). Nick Robinson also has a role with Irrfan Khan (Slumdog MillionaireAmazing Spider-Man, Life of Pi) in talks as well. Jurassic World is looking at a June 2015 release date.
