The Gang’s All Together in New X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Poster

After the release of today’s new X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer, it looks like Bryan Singer’s uber-complex X-adventure is finally ready to come out of the Instagram trailer-filled woodwork and begin the customary marketing blitz you probably expect from any superhero movie now. And on top of that new trailer, Fox have released a shiny new poster for Days of Future Past, displaying a hefty chunk of the mutants we’ll be seeing in the movie (including er… some slightly obscure ones), flying Iron Man suits/Sentinels and fire farting (you can’t make this up by the way). It’s quite the busy poster – even squeezing in bit-players like Blink and Colossus, alongside Professor X and Magneto (old and new versions), Beast, Mystique, Kitty Pryde, and good old Wolverine, sho seems to be staring at Mystique for some reason. Also, it appears that during the Sentinel years, Professor X has not only acquired a floating wheelchair, but fire farting powers too (in all seriousness, that’s a very unfortunate placing of Patrick Stewart).

Also, it looks like there’s going to be quite a few Sentinels in action, with a fleet speeding away up above and bearing a weird far-off resemblance to the Iron Man 3 posters. Unfortunately, it looks like these guys will be a little more malevolent than Tony Stark’s fleet…

X-Men: Days of Future Past is released on May 23 and stars 75% of all the A-list actors in Hollywood.
