MEGATRON Returning As GALVATRON in TRANSFORMERS 4?

Way back in February we were the first to reveal that the mighty Jurassic Autobots known as Dinobots would appear in TRANSFORMERS 4 (which was just confirmed by producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura) and now it looks like another one of our scoops is nearing confirmation. In that same February article, we revealed that Megatron would return to the franchise, possibly as Galvatron, which was a name bestowed to the resurrected version of the Decepticon in the classic cartoons. Well, a few obvservant journalists have noticed that Warner Bros.’s video game partners have registered the title “Megatron Returns”, which indicates a likely resurrection for the twice dead villain (who died in the first Transformers and in the most recent, Transformers: Dark of the Moon).

A Transformers 4 staffer managed to sneak this pic of Megatron’s deceased cabeza from the set. Pre-Galvatron phase, I’m assuming.

If this Megatron story is true, and it looks like it is, then our massive February 2012 scoop will be right on 2 out of 3 major points, with only our claim that Unicron bereft of confirmation. Again, I don’t want to be a petty asshole and say “Suck it haters! We were right!”, but once this Megatron / Galvatron info is ironed out, I totally will.
