First Featurette For The Dark Knight Rises

Featuring tons of footage (both behind-the-scenes and actual movie stuff), cast interviews and more, the first 13-minute featurette for The Dark Knight Rises. At first you may ignore this article as it’s not something like stills or a poster or whatever, but this confirms a major plot point of the film and something that will probably get the film an Oscar nomination just from that one scene: Bane’s origin. In the featurette we see a small child behind bars, and in one of the previous TV spots Alfred said, “born and raised in hell on earth.” From the people that have seen the movie over the weekend we have gotten hints that Bane’s origin will be explored, and this is confirmation, although we don’t quite know yet whether it will be the same origin from Knightfall.
