We’ve struggled through our fair share of fan films here at the San Diego offices of UTF, and we’ve managed to cultivate our own rating scale, which is entirely dependent on the amount of alcoholic beverages each of these flicks requires to make them palatable.  On average, they rank about 2 shots of well bourbon (or 2 coconut daiquiris if you’re as annoying as our UK editor Ciaran Chivers), but sometimes we stumble across a hidden gem.

Well, in this case it’s not so hidden, in fact, it’s one of the most anticipated fan flicks of all time (not to be too hyperbolic). If you remember back to last year, we brought you footage of youtuber Kashchei2003‘s version of The Death of Superman arc from the 90’s, featuring face smashing action from Doomsday and Supes . He cut and pasted snippets of footage from over a dozen action flicks, wed them in seamless CGI, and created one of the best DC adaptation’s this side of Nolan.

After a year of anxious waiting, he’s finally completed his 3-part odyssey, and between all the near-deaths and Batman baddassery, I’m not ashamed to admit many manly tears were shed.

I’ve listed all the videos out here, from the first to last, but if you only want to watch the most recent one, slide on down to the third vid.

And here’s a pretty heartwarming Batman interlude, which should fit between the second and third parts.  All these feels.  I don’t know what to do with them.
