Brand New Poster For The Dark Knight Rises Released!

Is it just me….. Or is this horribly photoshopped? I hate it. Look closely and you’ll see it’s the first teaser poster with firey tones, and the Batman image is a promo pic from The Dark Knight. Wow, good move WB. And this is definately official, as it debuted via the movie’s official Facebook page. Check it out below:

Soo….. What do you think? Good? Bad? Awful? Terrible? Yeah I don’t like it either. And I’m a huge Batman/Nolan fan. Very dissapointed with this poster, which makes me sad. Sound off with your thoughts below.

    I like it. Doesnt look any more photoshopped than the last ones. It fits with the trilogy theme, and thats obviously what they were going for. They’ve expanded it from a “dawn” theme(Begins), to dusk(TDK), and now the whole things aflame. I hope all the artwork fits the trilogy this well, at least for the sake of my DVD collection’s uniformity.

    Yea…. looks photoshopped, but not so big of a deal. Especially after all those weirdly computer enhanced images we received for The Avengers. That films promo art/posters has jaded me!

    This is a lazy job. Period. I can’t believe WB is actually standing behind this thing. How do you slap together a poster like this for one of the most anticipated movies ever? It’s the teaser, with some red coloring and an image of Batman dropped in the middle. That’s it. Sloppy. I think the fans deserve a hell of a lot more. Weak. Another blogger posted this, to show most likely the process.

    You can’t deny how crappy it is to put this out as an official poster. I’m sorry. I’ve seen fan made posters that show more effort.

    Yeah that’s pretty bad. I was looking at it on a phone, but that .gif opened my eyes. Ah well, there will be more posters. There always are.

    Ah well, we have consolation in the form of the 3 character posters that just came out… THAT’s how you do a poster.
