Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kabbell And Rob Kazinksy Join The Cast Of WARCRAFT

TheWrap reports a bunch of additions to the cast of Warcraft. They include Ben Foster (X3, 3:10 To Yuma, Lone Survivor, The Messenger), Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger, Dead Man Down, Need For Speed), Toby Kebbell (Wrath of The Titans, RockNRolla) and Rob Kazinsky (Pacific Rim, True Blood) . Travis Fimmel (Vikings) and Paula Patton (MI4, 2 Guns) have previously landed lead roles in the fantasy film from Legendary Pictures. Duncan Jones will be directing from a script from Charles Leavitt. Jones is best known for sci-fi films Moon and Source Code. Kazinsky tweeted the following statement on his Twitter account. Robert was once attached to play Fili in Peter Jackson’s Hobbit trilogy but would later dropout. Legendary also confirmed the news via Twitter.

The film is said to focus on both the worlds of the human and orc characters from the original game. It possible the video game adaptation could also include dragons, zombies, werewolves and elves. This might be Legendary’s answer to Middle Earth, as The Hobbit trilogy will end next December with The Hobbit: There And Back Again. Production begins next month in Vancouver, British Columbia. While the film’s release date has been moved to March 11th, 2016, after a clash with Disney’s Star Wars: Episode VII.
