There’ve been a few updates and rumours roaming around the internet today, so instead of ignoring them like the back-water gossip that they are, let’s take a look at them and discuss.

Avengers

A few things have hit the web today. Some new concept art for the Quinjet has been released. Nothing too mind-blowing here, just a god look at the Earth’s Mightiest trusty steed.

The next bit of news is a bit dubious. Another report is marauding around the internet suggesting that the Skrulls won’t make an appearance in The Avengers. Instead, Marvel Studios has reportedly opted for a lesser known alien race, which suggests that they couldn’t win the rights back from Fox who currently has the rights to the Super-Skrull.

Star Wars

In anticipation of the 3D re-release of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, LucasArts has unveiled a new motion poster. Check it out below:

They’ve also released a commercial featuring Darth Maul in a Brisk Tea-fueled struggle with Master Yoda. And on an even funnier note, here’s a video of Yoda farting to death.

Superman

Alrighty, this is another possible SPOILER for the Man of Steel…but not really. In a new promo image, WB has alluded to the destruction of the Daily Planet. Does this mean Zod and Superman will have a fight in downtown Metropolis? Probably…but that was pretty much expected from the beginning, right?
