TOP 10 ‘ARROW TO THE KNEE’ MEMES

If you’re as addicted to the internet as I am, then you probably can’t visit any message board or comments section without being assaulted by a barrage of “arrow to the knee” jokes. So, after hours of careful arbitration, I’ve determined the 10 absolute best of the best. Here we go…

By the way, if you’re one of the many pretenders out there who don’t yet understand the whole ‘arrow to the knee’ joke, let me break it down for you. In Bethesda’s blockbuster game Skyrim you play a dragonborn adventurer hellbent on destroying the last of the fire-breathers. Gallivanting from town to town, you’ll encounter an entire realm of new and interesting characters, but whenever you come across guardsmen, they always seem to have the same story: “I used to be an adventurer like you, until I took an arrow to the knee”. It happened so frequently that gamers started to notice it, then ridicule it, and thus a meme was born!
