Deadworld: Restoration #3 Review

DEADWORLD WAR OF THE DEAD HEADER

The world is getting darker and darker and humanity is not doing the best. Read on to find out more.

“The few leper survivors find out about the strength and ferocity of the grakken while Bowker must confront Moloch and the two of them, put their plans into motion. But are they really working together? Donna, still desperate to retrieve her daughter sends a massive army of zombies to attack New Washington. Continuing the saga of the long running zombie classic!”

So there is a lot going on, especially, in this issue of of Deadworld. Now I have to focus on one part in particular. Despite the fact that, Donna, is a crazy woman and I mean she is really crazy. I feel for her. I mean it. It always sad to see a mother lose her thchild and the way she reacts in this issue, really I have to say it gives the character depth. I think that it’s a great way to show some softness of this character and it works to it’s strength in this issue. Now does she overact, maybe, just a little.  Along with that, the development of the Lepers is really nice for this issue. There is a hint of betrayal, however, it isn’t completely clear. You will have to read to understand.

The writing is fantastic. The development of it’s character is very nice and works to it’s strength for this issue. I do wish things would move a little faster. It’s not as bad as “Game of Throne’s” but it is a little slow for my taste. Overall,  I do think that this issue is fun and great.

The art is spot on as usual. I love the style of this artist. It is very gritty and exciting. It reminds of 30 days of night, but even better. I think it’s spot on.

I give it a four out of five.
