Lady Rawhide #5 Review

The final battle for the heart and soul of Old Mexico begins! Lady Rawhide has fought for the people a relentless battle against corruption and oppression—along the way becoming a folk hero to the countless citizens she’s aided. But with the mercenary forces of Yanqui silver and rail barons on the march, the soldiers of the corrupt governor crushing any who stand before them, and a violent band of female vigilantes fighting a war against them all, is this Lady Rawhide’s last ride?

So I have to say when it comes to conclusions it doesn’t get any better than this and let me tell you that this one is a dozy. First off there is some great moments of desperation that show human nature at its finest. There is a point that you are not sure that she is not going to make it, I won’t ruin it but the ending is something to be looked at a couple times. The one nice thing is that it does wrap up a a lot and a satisfying point. You will not be disappointed at all.

The writing for this issue is just fantastic. It does a lot to wrap things up but it does so, so well that you will be like “wow” that is some great writing. It is worth every page with plenty of action, sorrow, and more.

The art is just as great as the writing because there are some great panels that shows the action and the ability to portray the emotions is just amazing. It is something that should be highlighted for years to come because it is just amazing.

Lady Rawhide is a great series and wraps up nicely in this issue.
