Judge Dredd is not doing too hot. Find out why, here!

Official Description:

“Badges, part 2.” With Judges being assassinated at an alarming rate, and chaos breaking out in various blocks, Dredd is more determined than ever to find the killer-a former Judge who went insane about being cloned and incarcerated. But the case draws Dredd into the crosshairs of the Special Judicial Squad, who think he’s to blame for all the troubles of late. If you think the Dredd plays rough, wait until you meet the skull-cracking sadists of the SJS… the Judges who judge the Judges!

Okay, so this is a very exciting issue of Judge Dredd. If you haven’t read up to this point then don’t read on because there will be spoilers. However, I won’t ruin everything. Okay, so we all know that Tarjay is the one behind everything because he has gone nuts. Now, we don’t know exactly what has happened to him but he has gone nuts and in this issue, he goes over the deep end. I really mean

over the end. There is a couple of crazy things that happen. One of the big things is, that you kind of figure out why he has been killing the Judges or at least a hint of it. It is very cool. Also, you get to see Dredd kick the crap out of someone that I, personally, wanted to see him kick the crap of. I really think that this is something that you will be very happy about. There is a sad moment. One of our favorite Judges is killed and I have to say if the writer doesn’t resolve some things soon, everyone is going to be dead.

The writing for this is spot on. This issue gives you enough information to keep you intrigued but hides enough to keep you wanting more. It is very well done and I love it. The writing for this series just keeps getting better and better.

The art is spot fantastic. There are some great moments that are highlighted by the art. There is something in particular that I have to say will make you smile, by the way that it is shown.

Overall, I give this a four out of five.
