A TON Of INFINITY CRAP!

Marvel is a bucket of exploding shit this week as even more Infinity crap hit the internet. There is so much at stake for this coming series, that fan expectations are going to be through the roof. Fans of events will need something major to come back from the horrible story known as Age Of Ultron. Decompression has been a huge issue with all big event storylines from the publisher in the last few years. Jonathan Hickman is a smart writer and Thanos is a cool villain, hopefully there is no reason to think this is going to be crap. Hickman delivered another classic what the fuck moment in the new mighty teasers, as The Blue Marvel was announced as one of the characters on the new team. Famed editor Tom Brevoort delivered the following quote on the comic,

“Adam the Blue Marvel, a character that garnered a lot of attention from the one little limited series he was in, He’s a phenomenally powerful character, a man who his conscience told him he had to stand down at the command of his president, and ever since he has regretted the action. He’s got some ambivalence about what he should be doing, his place in the world, whether everything has passed him by and he’s viewed in different ways by different members of the public. The time has come again for him to step into the world in a big way because the events of infinity are such that he can no longer sit on the sidelines. He has to get involved in the middle of the action.”

The other team members that were revealed include She-Hulk and The Superior Spider-Man. In addition to the other already revealed Luke Cage. This is a really interesting team that could have a really strange dynamic. There are also some really cool personalities at play here with Spidey and Cage. Let’s hope the upcoming storyline will completely flesh these personalities out.

Marvel has also released a few pages from the big storyline. They are drawn by the incredible Jim Cheung, who seems to be handling the first issue. The Black Order of Thanos seems to be teased here!

Will you be ready for Infinity when the first issue ships in August?
