MEGA POKEMON…Do I really need to say more?

'Pokemon X and Y' mega evolutions will be given to classic starters

Remember a simpler time, where you went to Professor Oak, bright eyed and bushy tailed, waiting to start you adventure becoming a Pokémon master? As you continued through your adventure, your Pokémon would grow and evolve, getting new abilities and changing forms but at certain point your Pokémon achieved their highest potential and stopped.

Now what if I told you to throw that all away and get ready for MEGA POKEMON. That’s right big news came from Nintendo about the new Pokémon games Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Apparently not only will you be able to choose from the original three Pokémon, Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle, but you will get the chance to evolve them even farther than their original final form into a form called Mega Evolution while in battle.

This new form gives your Pokémon never before seen powers that will the way you see Pokémon. Now you may be asking “How do I get this amazing and awesome new form?” It’s as easy as getting your Pokémon’s unique Mega Stone, which, when held can help your Pokémon mega evolve. However, there is a second part to this. As a trainer, you are required to get a bracelet named the Mega Ring. This particular bracelet holds a mysterious stone called a Key Stone that works with your Pokémon’s stone and triggers the Mega Evolution. Seriously, this is the most exciting news since I leaned the entire Pokerap.

Another feature that was announced was the Pokémon Bank. For an annual fee, players to upload and stored up to 3,000 Pokémon on the internet. Players will be able to store and deposit 100 boxes worth of Pokémon in addition to the ones already in the game. Additional feature will include the ability to transfer Pokémon from previous games as well using an application called Poke Tran porter. You just add plug in your previous games into your DS and use the Poke Transporter to add them to your bank. Man, with this feature, I will be able to transfer my level 87 Pikachu to my new game, FINALLY. Pokémon X and Y both will be available on Nintendo 3DS on October 12, 2013.

Are you ready to catch em’ all?
