MARTIAN MANHUNTER and JOHN STEWART in INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US!

Those Injustice: Gods Among Us updates continue, as the next DLC character has been confirmed: Martian Manhunter! Yup, the possibly most asked for character is finally coming, guys! You can clap now! Meanwhile, John Stewart is also playable, but only as an alternate skin for Hal Jordan. However, while his move-set will be the same, his voice will be different, so at least some effort was put into it.

Here is a cool trailer featuring these two locked in combat:

The trailer is pretty cool. Both characters have a unique move-set, and the gameplay is as brutal as ever! Manhunter’s final move is pretty cool, and it makes good use of his size-manipulation.

For some fans, the best part might be that Carl Lumbly and Phil LaMarr voice Manhunter and John Stewart respectively, reprising their roles from the Justice League animated series! That is pretty neat!

Unfortunately, there is no release date yet for the Martian Manhunter DLC. Oh well, time to be patient.

Injustice: Gods Among Us was released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U consoles on April 16. The game was developed by NetherRealm Studios (Mortal Kombat) and DC Comics is currently publishing a (really good) comic tie-in.

So…is this news enough to get you to purchase the game, assuming that you don’t already have it?
