Killer Croc, The Riddler, and The Penguin to Join Cast of Injustice: Gods Among Us

For the fans who feel that Injustice: Gods Among Us, the upcoming fighting game featuring various characters from DC Comics, already features enough Batman characters, avert your eyes, because three more Batman rogues will be appearing (but only possibly as playable characters): the reptilian Killer Croc, the enigmatic Riddler, and The Penguin, who is the lamest Batman villain ever, IMO.

Ed Boon, who is one of the main programmers for Injustice, tweeted an image that caught fans eyes. The image features Killer Croc choking Flash as Riddler and Penguin watch on. One thing that should be noted is that all three villains seem to be using their designs from the Arkham video games.

Too bad Flash didn’t dodge…

Injustice: Gods Among Us, which is being released on April 16, will be playable on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U consoles. The game is being developed by NetherRealm Studios (Mortal Kombat), and currently has a roster of over 15 characters, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Joker, Bane, Catwoman, and Lex Luthor. DC Comics is also publishing a comic prequel.

While I don’t really think that Injustice is over-doing it with Batman characters, I would like to see some more Superman and Green Lantern villains. Bring on Darkseid, Imperiex, and/or Atrocitus!
