Final Fantasy VII Coming to Steam

On June 15th, Square Enix registered the domain finalfantasyviipc.com and on it for a brief time this image could be seen: http://i.imgur.com/1iOvl.png. It will feature 36 new achievements, cloud saving (insert witty character name pun here), something called a Character Booster that seems to be a ‘press to win’ button and social networking in the form of an online profile. It’ll be released for £7.99 – same as the PSN download. Sadly not a remake of the original, but perhaps an up-res might be in store for those eager to replay, or experience for the first time, this classic.
