E3 2012: Game Trailers – E3 FIRST LOOK Wrap-Up!

In case you missed it, Game Trailers TV gave their viewers some exclusive sneak peaks at several titles that are sure to keep gamers talking in the days to come.

STAR WARS 1313

First up was an exclusive first look at the upcoming LucasArts mystery title, Star War 1313.  What can be gleamed from what was shown is that this game will take place predominantly in the underworld of the Star Wars universe and stars an unnamed bounty hunter.

GUARDIANS OF MIDDLE EARTH

From Monolith and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment comes this upcoming fighter that will apparently sport up to 5 on 5 battles.  And did I mention it’s a game set in the Lord of the Rings universe?

DISHONORED

Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studios are working together to bring you a game where you have to assassinate people.  It also has some really nifty blood splatter effects (see the trailer for more on that).

METAL GEAR SOLID RISING: REVENGEANCE

Not much needs to be said about this crazy action and adventure game coming from Konami, I mean it’s Metal Gear but with a sword… that can slice helicopters?  I don’t know about you, but I’m excited about getting to slice helicopters!

CASTLEVANIA: LORDS OF SHADOW 2

The sequel to 2010’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is coming… in 2013, but here’s a very pretty CG trailer that will make any fan of the first one eager for the forthcoming sequel.

TOMB RAIDER

It’s been a year since any real footage of Tomb Raider was shown and yes the reboot is looking better than ever.  Think Uncharted visuals and gameplay but mixed with survival game mechanics straight out of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.  In short: Lara Croft is reborn, and she’s never looked so good.

So there you have it another year, and another set of exclusive debut trailers on GTTV.  Some were amazing, while others were underwhelming but despite any potential disappointments I am still pumped about next week!  E3 start Monday guys!  Who’s excited?
