Dynasty Warriors : Gundam Reborn Coming to America

Another gaming announcement hit the pipelines Tuesday, this one from Namco Bandai Games America. Shin Gundam Musou will be for sale this summer under the name Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn.

For those unaware, Dynasty Warriors is a long running tactical action series by Omega Force and Koei. It’s a spin-off Koei’s Romance of the Three Kingdoms turn based strategy game, which is loosely based off of the Chines historical novel the same name. In it you can choose one of many characters and take down entire armies similar to an arcade beat em up. While not the deepest of games its still loads of fun to waste entire armies with only your sword. The game houses many spin-offs that branch into Fist of the North Star, One Piece, and even Zelda.

DW: Gundam Reborn is the 4th title in the Dynasty Warriors Gundam series. Boasting new gameplay elements such as calling in battleships and controlling mobile armors. “Official Mode” also makes a comeback, which includes new recreations for the stories of Gundam UC, Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny, Zeta Gundam, Char’s Counterattack, and the first Gundam series. There is also “Ultimate Mode”, wherein different characters from different Gundam series meet and battle in crossover missions. The game will also feature over 100 mobile suits available for play, the most ever in the series and will also have multiplayer and online play.
