Art-icle: Making Game of Thrones in Minecraft

That’s right, a group of crazy dedicated fans naming themselves WesterosCraft have decided to rebuild an entire continent from George R. R. Martin’s sprawling fantasy world. Fans of the TV show Game of Thrones will recognize familiar locations and you have to marvel at their commitment to the project, it’s done on a pretty damn big scale! Their work can be seen on the website here, but here’s some to wet your appetite:

As you can see, it’s a very ambitious project but so far so beautiful, it’s coming together and looking fantastic! I can’t wait for it to be finished and to get in there and have an explore myself.
