Rare unseen footage of the Joker in The Dark Knight

Well, it’s finally here.  Okay, maybe ‘finally’ is a little bit of an over-statement, since this footage has been floating around the net for a good number of years, but nevertheless, I thought you guys would enjoy it!!!  So without further ado, here’s the never before seen…ahem, rarely seen…unused footage of Heath Ledger’s Joker.

Alright, in case you’ve already seen that vid a million times, here’s a clip of Abed (Community)acting like Batman:


So what’d you guys think? Does this lessen the chances of seeing a clip of the Joker in The Dark Knight Rises? Or is this simply inconsequential?

I honestly can’t imagine that Christopher Nolan wouldn’t show us, at the very least, a brief glimpse of Joker at some point in the flick. In my mind, there’s just too few strands tying together the seemingly out-of-place Clown Prince from The Dark Knight with the greater arch of villains that we see with the League of Shadows.

So if Nolan is willing to concede these few glimpses at some unseen footage of the Joker in this youtube video, then what kind of crazy stuff does he have planned for TDKR? What’s your take on the concept? Sound off in the comments below.

    First of all these are not rare clips of un-used footage. I saw this on Youtube not long after TDK came out on DVD! Nolan has said NO to the Joker so let it end already. I do think that they have more footage of Heath Ledger. For all the takes they use they always have lots that they do not. They filmed several scenes of him as The Joker on a skateboard. Where are they? No I do not mean the photoshopped stills either. For whatever reason they sit on the un-used footage. Maybe a special boxed set of all 3 movies is in the works and they will put the extra on there.

      This was a cheeky little post, but a fairly legit one at the same time. There’s no real connection that Nolan’s established between TDK and either BB or TDKR. And Nolan is infamous for misleading audiences, just look at his admission of filming false scenes for the TDKR. So, I’m not convinced about the Joker not appearing. Don’t even get me started on the possiblility of seeing a Man of Steel teaser or easter egg somewhere inthis flick.
