It’s Morphin Time at the Lexington Comic-Con with ORIGINAL POWER RANGERS

power rangers original

Growing up in the 90’s I looked forward to two things on Saturday morning, one was eating a big bowl of Lucky Charms, and two was watching The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I would get so lost in the martial arts action, the teen drama, the awesome weapons, decked out zoids, and the unique monsters that would appear every week.

The Power Rangers had a major impact on my childhood and as an adult, the Lexington Comic and Toy Con has awoken my inner child. This year I can once again grab my Morpher belt buckle and yell “It’s Morphin Time” as I stand in line waiting to meet my childhood icons. ALL the Power Rangers will be there, with the exception of Billy the Blue Ranger. I always dreamed of being Tommy Oliver, because he was the coolest of the Power Rangers, and now I get the opportunity to tell him. Jason David Frank (Tommy/Green and White Ranger) will be there along with Steve Cardenas (Rocky/Red Ranger), Karan Ashley (Aisha/Yellow Ranger), Walter Jones (Zack/Black Ranger) and making her first ever convention apperace, mine and every other 90’s young boy hood crush, Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly/Pink Ranger).

Whats the Power Rangers without their villainous counterparts? The evil rulers who tried to destroy all of Angel Grove will also be at Lexington Comic and Toy Con causing mayhem and destruction. Barbara Goodson (the voice of Rita Repulsa) will be there along with Robert Axlerod (the voice of Lord Zedd) and Kerrigan Mahan (the voice of Goldar). We cant forget about those two laughable wannabe thugs Bulk and Skull. They will be there trying to show up our heroes. Paul Schrier (Bulk) and Jason Narvy (Skull) will also be there. Also the only Power Rangers DJ and my boy DJ Tre will be rocking the beats.

So Ranger Fans, grab your Morpher, call out your Zoids, and put on your Ranger Suits because It’s Morphin Time at the Lexington Comic and Toy Con March 14-16th
