Merlin’s Coming to Comic Con!

Nope, I don’t mean the legendary sorcerer, I mean the increasingly impressive British fantasy series, Merlin. The official Twitter account of the show tweeted today that a Merlin panel would be coming to San Diego Comic Con in July for the third year in a row. @merlin_official later confirmed that Colin Morgan (Merlin), Katie McGrath (Morgana) and the executive producers will be attending the panel in Hall H in late July. We should be seeing a new poster, the reveal of the slogan for series five, a blooper reel and the first trailer for series five, so stay tuned to UTF for more news on that as it comes.

In other Merlin news, CultFix have stated that series five will begin on BBC1 in the UK on Saturday 29th September (it’ll likely be airing straight after episode five of series seven of Doctor Who) and will air uninterrupted until Christmas 2012. American air date details are yet to be announced.
