May 2016 Geek Fuel Review

GEEK FUEL is a monthly comic con in a box subscription service that will run you $23.90 a month with shipping included.  If you order multiple boxes at once though you will be hooked up with various discounts and bonuses. Is May’s box worth your cash? We’ll be taking a look at what’s included this month for you to decide.

First up we have Geek Fuel’s monthly mini mag and Game of Thrones Map.  While the Map is a little smaller than I would like, the paper quality is amazing.  This is an item worth framing.  Also we have a Geek Fuel exclusive Deadpool Monitor Mate.  He’s pretty small but the balance on him is great.

Next up is an insanely cool item (and Geek Fuel Exclusive) for the Uncharted fan, Sir Francis’ Drake’s lost ring.  It arrives in a mesh sack and tied in a chest.  This is very cool and super high quality.

If you subscribe to Geek Fuel you can expect a new Steam game each month.  This month is Weaponographist.  We’ve also got a nice little Deadpool poster.

Last up we have a Geek Fuel pint glass and Game of Thrones shirt.  The glass has a nice weight to it, and I always a appreciate a fun shirt based on a super dark property.

So was this month’s GEEK FUEL worth your money? Depends on what you think of the franchises represented here.  If you dig Uncharted though I would imagine you’d be pretty happy.  From a dollar value perspective think of it this way, would you pay $23.90 for some of this stuff on Ebay?
