GODZILLA Set to RULE this WEEKEND?

Alright guys it’s time to place your bets! But first have your read our REVIEW?

As it stands the King of the Monsters made an awesome debut last night pulling in 9.3 million in 3,400 locations. To put that Thursday start into perspective that means this particular green giant out performed Amazing Spider-Man 2 and was less than a million behind Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Does that sound awesome or what?

Based on that data, it means that Godzilla may be in for a mammoth splash but how much the lizard pulls in is anybody’s guess. Will it out do the superheroes or fall a bit short? Personally I think it might be a tame launch but I’m clinging to the hope of a triple digit debut by end of day Sunday but we’ll just have to wait, go watch the flick and see.

I just want it to out do that goofy, campy and downright terrible 1998 movie, which, let’s be honest doesn’t raise the bar too high (44 million).
