After months of waiting, Doctor Who returns tonight with the first of eight epic episodes (unintentional alliteration there). And in tonight’s series opener, The Bells of Saint John, we’ll be meeting Clara Oswald for the third time, solve the mystery of the evil Wi-Fi, and meet the Spoonheads. Yes, you read that correctly. So, to celebrate the first episode of the fiftieth anniversary year, here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s urban thriller…

SYNOPSIS

The Doctor’s search for Clara Oswald brings him to modern day London, where wifi is everywhere.

Humanity lives in a wi-fi soup. But something dangerous is lurking in the signals, picking off minds and imprisoning them. As Clara becomes the target of this insidious menace, the Doctor races to save her and the world from an ancient enemy.
